A farm stay that is anything but ordinary.
Nestled in the Coffs Harbour hinterland with views over rolling hills and the Orara escarpment, Mimosa Farm is a working property where we breed and train performance sport horses, teach dressage and offer Feldenkrais therapy. If you are interested in learning to ride, let us know and we can arrange a lesson. From time to time we run Riding and Awareness Through Movement clinics for Horse Riders, and offer our onsite cottage for attendees to use.
Mimosa Farm & Equestrian Centre
Mimosa Farm is a working farm and equestrian centre. It occupies 100 acres and is being progressively restored after the 2019 bushfires burnt through 99% of the land (amazingly not the house or cottage!).
The farm is home to home to our 7 riding horses, miniature horse Awesome, a flock of chickens and resident mob of wallabies who have moved in around the cottage and house. With no dogs on the property, wildlife abounds.
If you are visiting to attend one of our riding or Feldenkrais clinics, your horse is welcome to stay too! For guests, we have a self-service approach where you are welcome to look after your own horse. Be sure to let us know your plans before you arrive so we can make sure everything is ready to go.
